Call us at 973-274-0200 or ask your referring physician to send the order electronically. Most insurance plans are accepted — call us to verify your coverage.
Bring a valid photo ID, your insurance card, and any referral paperwork. If you've had previous imaging studies, bring those images or the disc if available — they help your radiologist make the most accurate comparison.
You'll be asked to change into a gown and remove any metal objects. Our technologists will walk you through everything and answer any questions before the scan begins.
Most MRI scans take 20–45 minutes. You'll be able to see and breathe freely in our open-bore system. We'll check in periodically and you'll have a call button for any concerns.
Images are reviewed by a board-certified radiologist and the report is sent directly to your referring physician. You can follow up with your doctor for next steps. We're here if you have questions along the way.
